Labor Day Weekend

My little family had a pretty busy Labor Day Weekend. We had plans every day so here's a recap:

SATURDAY

Steven had plans to go boating at Utah Lake with his Uncle and some cousins. Since his grandparents live at the original Saratoga Springs, they also invited us to swim at the 'hot spring pool'. I thought it would be fun to take Ella there for her first time swimming since they don't use a whole lot of chemicals in it. Well, Steve and I spent too much time on the boat and Ella decided to nap the afternoon away so we didn't get much swimming in.
The view from the back of the boat.

Steve tried wake-boarding and knee-boarding and did really well knee-boarding! Then we got the tube out and went tubing.

SUNDAY
On Sunday, we drove to Logan. I've wanted to get Ella up there to meet my grandparents as soon as possible and we thought the long weekend would be good. On our way up, we stopped in Brigham City and saw the temple under construction. It's beautiful!

We enjoyed a few hours at Grandma & Grandpa Wolfley's house, watched a movie, had some snacks (garden veggies & fish sticks) and we were on our way!

MONDAY
Labor Day started our week of 'goodbye' in the Wells'/Duckett family. Steven's brother Danny was called to enter the MTC on September 7th and the 5th (Monday) was his good-bye party. We had good food, BINGO, prizes, music, and lots of family. It was a good send-off for a good kid!

His band, Schroeder, playing their very last 'show'.

We had a great weekend and Ella was such a trooper throughout all the events! We're still trying to get her routine back.
