We're still here...promise.
We've been fairly busy around here or it at least seems like it. Nothing exciting but here's an update on our little family:
Steve: Employer laid him off right before Labor Day (awesome) and we've been waiting for them to call him back. Since he's willing to travel for work he was recruited to work in St. George and will spend the next few weeks down there. He had his first day there today and seemed to love it!
Ashlee: I was enjoying my time at home until Steve was laid off. My old employer heard the news and called me to come in for a few more hours a week. Since then, I've been working almost every day for about 6 hours a day...Ella comes with me and it's definitely been hard. Her routine was thrown for a loop and she hasn't recovered yet. That makes for long work days...
I'm still trying to get my jewelry shop back up and running. It's slowly coming a long and I'm trying to get my name out there. Hopefully soon!
Ella: The one you all really care about! She will be 2 months old on Monday...I teared up just by typing that. I miss her snuggly newborn self but I'm super excited to wake up every morning and see what she'll do. She loves to 'talk', stick out her tongue, and she still rolls over. She's been a great night-time sleeper (8:30-4:30!) but her naps have suffered since going to work with me. She fights sleep so I can't wait until we start sleep training. She LOVES her snuggly and that's a fairly new thing. Only over the past few days has she been attached to it and it now goes everywhere with us. We absolutely love her and can't imagine life without her anymore.
And since every post needs a picture of Ella, here's a picture of the way she sleeps. If I don't put her in a swaddle-wrap, then she holds her hands like this. Too cute!

So glad your back. Don't wait that long again. She is a doll. Good luck to both of younwith work. How great that you can bring her, but I am sure it makes the whole schedule thing a tad bit more difficult.
