Plentiful Pantry Party
This past Friday, Plentiful Pantry hosted their annual Christmas Party. It was only open for the employees and was catered by Debbie herself! We played SANTA (instead of BINGO), had a "cake walk" and then had a raffle at the end. Debbie and Jody had purchased a Blu-Ray Player and a Wii for the raffle. They also offered 2 round trip tickets and a weekend trip to Wendover. The prizes were a HUGE hit and all of the employees were excited!
Thank you Debbie and Jody, we all had such a great time!

Christmas Concerts
This Holiday season has been a busy one and included 4 Choir Concerts-4! I only made it to 3 :)
The marathon started off with Austyn's concert at the beginning of the month and she was amazing! Her choir sang extremely well and I had to keep reminding myself that they were in Junior High. The second and third concert was Steve's younger brother Danny. It's his last year and they did great. His last concert was at Temple Square and I wasn't able to make it. The fourth and last concert was Steve's youngest brother Ben. His was the same night as Danny's and we tag-teamed it. Their last song was The Prayer of the Children and I doubt there was a dry eye in the room. It was absolutely amazing and didn't sound like it came from 9th Graders.
These concerts have definitely gotten me in the Christmas Spirit! It only took me 3 weeks to get there but I'm finally there. There are so many parties to go to, new family members to meet, and lots of gifts to give and I'm so excited for them all.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

Haymond Party
The Haymond family had their annual Christmas partry this past Monday (December 14th) and it was a huge hit! We were all asked to bring a small, inexpensive gift to donate to the BINGO game and they were all quite funny. Rian kept everyone laughing during dinner while she played Peek-A-Boo with all of the guests.
All of the women received a necklace made from paper beads and all the men received DVDs. The Blackout grand prize for the guys was a DVD player and the girls battled for a handmade scarf. Steve walked away with the DVD player and Amber took home the scarf! We all had such a great time and look forward to this party every year, thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Timpview Christmas Concert
Timpview had their annual Christmas Concert Thursday night and Steve and I went to support his younger brother Danny. It's his last year and they did an amazing job! Danny sang with the Madrigals towards the beginning and then sang with the A Capella Choir at the end. Both choirs sang 4 songs each and at the end, they invited all Timpview Alumni to sing a couple of songs with them. Steve jumped up and joined his brother on stage while they sang a couple of songs, one being the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah (I had a video, but it's not uploading....) Danny did an amazing job and I really enjoyed being with Steve's family!
